Today I parked in that spot.
After all, I am a mother to be :) When that will be, I have no idea, but it will be. I had to go to my hospital to pick something up real quick so I went to park in the front as opposed to employee parking. I pulled up close to the front where I had spotted an awesome spot only to be confronted with the sign: parking reserved for expectant mothers or mothers to be. I thought, well, this is definitely the spot for me, and pulled right in. It was great.
So if you see a sweet spot like that go ahead and park--the sign applies to you my fellow mothers to be.
Haha, I am always so tempting to take those spots. Why not!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I see these spots at the Mall in front of Macy's all the time. I don't park in them, as they are always taken, but the first time I saw them I almost cried.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed that spot :)
Haha I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I hate people parking in those spots when they have no children with them. I know it's just a courtesy gesture as there is no legal requirement but here those spots are abused by so many (men, young ladies, you name it) that I wouldn't park there at all until I have an obvious belly!
ReplyDeleteI have no regrets about parking in that spot. I have put forth thousands of dollars to have a chid and if I need to park in that spot the week of mother's day or any other day for that matter to keep from getting down, and remind myself that I am a "mother to be" then I will do it.
ReplyDeleteYou go Jrs! I'm totally with you on this one! I totally support your move! Whoot! Whoot!
