Showing off his teeth
I finally managed to get a decent picture of my little guy's two bottom teeth. They may be small and cute, but beware, if you stick your finger in his mouth you will learn that they are also very sharp.

Would you like some juice?
I like this picture I took of my little guy today. I know it's nothing fancy, but it reminds me of the fun time we had together today. My little guy has a new hobby. It involves chasing the empty juice bottle as it rolls around under my kitchen floor, and then occasionally trying to see if he can get any juice out of it even though the lid is on. He is so much fun to have around.

Wordless Wednesday: My child loves his birth mother
Okay, I can't not write anything under this picture. My little guy is such a happy, smiley boy. This is how he greets me when he wakes up from his nap. Ready to play and have some fun. I enjoyed seeing my little boy in this shirt all day yesterday. Every time I looked at it I thought to myself, "I love your birth mother too." She is such an a amazing, courageous, beautiful, and loving person. I consider myself very blessed to know her and to have had my life changed by her.

The Nursery
I realized I never showed you pictures of the nursery. My brother did an amazing job in pulling everything together. I love our little guy's room. We of course decided to go with a monkey, zany, fun theme, so he can enjoy this room for many years.
This hangs above his crib. My brother came up with the amazing idea of having a monkey vine for all of the monkeys to hang from.
I like the dog hooks under the mirror on the edge of the photo.
I also like the barrel of monkeys we have hanging from the ceiling fan.
I have also put some monster vinyls decals on the wall by the chair that match the pillow and fill the space nicely.
this is his changing pad on top of his dresser, with more monkeys to look at.
Not a stellar picture of us, but I wanted to show the cool light we have in the room and the finger puppets behind my husband. I collect them and like to keep a few in my bag when a kid is restless and needs something fun to play with. My brother came up with this fun way to display them all.
A close up on some of the finger puppets.
It is such a fun room to spend time in. I love how it turned out.

Wordless Wednesday: This just makes me smile
I just walked by the computer and saw they my hubby had put a different photo on the screen saver. With all the pics we have taken we keep changing them almost as frequently as we are changing diapers. Ok, not that frequently, but every few days we have different fun picture of our little guy on the computer. And this is the one he put up. It just made me laugh and smile.
Here he is, all 20+ inches of him
My hubby was saying this is the "bird's eye view" or "helicopter parent" view
He looks so little here. He is already getting so big. I can't believe it.

Beautiful Adoption Song
This is one of my favorite songs about adoption. The song is called: From God's Arms, To My Arms, To Yours. In this video, the artist, Michael McLean is singing it while at an adoption conference. It is just beautiful. It brings tears to my eyes and warmth to my heart whenever I hear it. If clicking on the video doesn't work, try clicking here

Wordless Wednesday: Wipeout Video
This is a clip from a hilarious show where people go through an obstacle course. The commentators are just as hilarious. Hope you enjoy this and get some good laughs.

Wordless Wednesday: My cute little niece
This little niece of mine is so funny. I just love hanging out with her. The last time I saw her she wanted to have a dance party in her room. So we cranked up the music and danced like crazy. We had a blast. It is one of those memories that will stick with me forever. I wish I had my video camera with me that day.
I called her on the phone this week to say hello. At first she didn't know who it was, but once she figured it out, she just started chatting away about her life. She is so cute and this picture of her always make me smile.

Wordless Wednesday: My brother
I am so excited! My brother said he is coming to visit me sometime soon!
He is one of my favorite people in the whole world.
Wonder what we are doing in these pictures? We are "blind dancing" and celebrating at my wedding. When you feel like dancing and don't have a partner, just go to the mini blinds and use the blind string. It is so fun, and pretty hilarious.
I think I might just do it now. I am celebrating with this wonderful news that my brother is coming to town. Join me, crank up some music and get down.
I'm back: just rocked out to "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas. I love the line "jump off that sofa". And yes, I jumped off the sofa. It was like a regular dance party in here.
Super fun!

Wordless Wednesday: My hubby
Here is one of my favorite pictures of my husband with my stuffed monkey Homer. My hubby is such a good sport and easy going. And he puts up with my obsession for my stuffed monkeys. This picture was taken years ago at one of our niece's soccer games. This is from when we lived in CA and I was into the baseball team: The Angels, mostly because they had rally monkeys like Homer. My hubby is the best, he brings so much joy into my life.

Wordless Wednesday: Who needs a truck?
When you can ride a motorcycle?
This is my hubby and me on our honeymoon. One fun thing we like to do when we travel is ride around on a scooter to see the area. It can be a bit frightening especially the times when we have driven on the left side. But so far we have survived.
In case you are wondering, this is not the picture I sent to my nephew yesterday, it's not that funny, but if you click on the following link, you will see the pictures I sent. I had received the pictures in an email, but they are not mine and I don't have the copyrighted info or permission to post them, but if you go to this link you can see them. They are pretty funny. They show people and their items loaded to the max on motorcycles.
